Over nine-year tenure with Biaggi’s James worked as a server, bartender, manager, assistant managing partner, and acting managing partner. Mr. Khan’s keen insight into what makes a restaurant successful made him an invaluable asset to Biaggi’s management and ownership and he became instrumental as a consultant to sister stores within the company assisting and implementing policy, processes and success culture, arresting the failing situations thereby converting these stores to profitable operations.

James has led the effort transforming BakerStreet from a business literally one day away from closing its doors and $550,000 in debt to a debt-free entity profiting close to $200,000 per year by doubling top line sales. More than just the sales turnaround James has been a catalyst educating staff and management in sound business practices and guest interaction techniques and developing a culture which has resulted in BakerStreet consistently being ranked at the top of service standards over the last eight years by OpenTable.
